Jesus Can Make Weak Things Strong

Paul’s lesson from a “thorn”

The Apostle Paul was a great servant of Jesus Christ. He had many revelations and taught people about the Savior. But Paul also had many challenges.

In a letter to Church members, Paul compared his challenges to having a thorn stuck in his skin. It made Paul feel very weak.

Three times, Paul prayed and asked the Lord to take away his challenge. But the Lord did not take it away.

Instead, the Lord told Paul that He had enough power to make Paul strong. Paul learned that sometimes a challenge can be a good thing if we turn to the Lord and ask for help. When we feel weak, Jesus Christ can make us strong, even if our challenges don’t go away.
