A promise for times when life is hard

Rome was a very large city with a lot of people. Some of the people were followers of Jesus Christ, but most were not. Many people in Rome believed in things that were very different from what Jesus taught. Sometimes people in Rome treated members of the Church unkindly.

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the Saints in Rome. He wanted them to know that even though life is sometimes hard, God had great blessings to give them. If we love God, He can help the hard things in our lives lead to something good.
