Seminary has allowed me to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’ve been able to deepen my understanding of God’s plan for us and what’s our life’s purpose on earth. I have learned why God makes us go through different trials and that no matter what, he will always be at our side.
Gospel study is the best part of my day, and I know that when my turn to share anything about the gospel comes, I will be prepared. “I am a Child of God, a Child of the covenant, and a disciple of Jesus Christ.” This is what we always say before our class. It’s our three identifiers. It is my daily reminder that I truly am all of those things.
There will always be times when people will ask me why I go to that church, and I will be able to testify that I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living church on this earth. Seminary has helped me strengthen my testimony and has given me the courage to share it every time I can. I have seen a great change in myself. I’ve grown to be a better person by sharing the love God has for me with others.
