His Story
The Warning
Noah lived in a time of great wickedness. The Lord told Noah a flood would cover the earth if the people did not repent. He commanded Noah to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, but the people did not repent.
The Ark
God told Noah to build an ark (a large boat). Noah made covenants with God and did as He commanded him. He went inside the ark with his family and with animals of every kind.
The Rain
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights, and all the earth was covered in water. Eventually, Noah sent a dove out of the ark to look for dry land. It came back with an olive leaf.
The Offering
After Noah and his family left the ark, Noah built an altar to the Lord and offered sacrifices to Him. Noah was obedient and grateful. The Lord set a rainbow in the cloud as a token of His covenant that He would not destroy the earth by flood again.
Your Story
Like Noah, you might have times in your life when you feel surrounded by “waves” (hard or scary circumstances). But you can trust that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will help you find hope and peace as you strive to keep your covenants.
