My parents got divorced, and it was a heartbreaking event that affected my young heart. It was very hard for me because I didn’t want them to split, but I found the comfort I needed in Christ. It was a true spiritual lifeline!

During those difficult times, I found power in the words of Christ. The lessons I received from my parents and leaders helped me stay focused on His teachings. The gospel became a fortress from which I could draw strength—strength needed to hold on to my faith in spite of family storms.

Today, I continue to find joy through the gospel and through temple experiences. I want to learn even more about Christ. I want to know Him even better and, above all, to follow in His footsteps. I have a testimony that Christ guides our paths and that He will help us to remain centered on Him, despite trials.
