A Prayer for Peace

One time my parents had an argument. It made me feel really sad, and I didn’t know what to do. I knelt down and prayed to Heavenly Father, asking Him to comfort me and help me feel at peace.

After praying, I opened the youth magazine and came across a message that reminded me of Heavenly Father’s and Jesus Christ’s love. It reassured me that I was never alone and that They were always there to guide, strengthen, and comfort me. I felt a deep sense of peace settle in my heart.

Not long after, I noticed that my parents had also calmed down. They forgave each other and began talking again. I felt so grateful. This experience strengthened my testimony that when we truly look unto Christ, He will always be there to help us through any challenge.
