How Can I Help My Friends and Family?

As a resurrected being, Jesus Christ visited the Nephites and invited them to do something that set a pattern for what we as His modern disciples can also do. He said:

“Have ye any that are sick among you? … Have ye any that are lame, or blind, … or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you” (3 Nephi 17:7).

Notice how those ancient disciples responded.

“All the multitude … did go forth with their sick … and with all them that were afflicted in any manner; and he did heal them” (3 Nephi 17:9).

I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is still the gentle Healer. As we respond to His invitation to bring our friends and family to Him, He will heal them in His own way.

“And they did all, both they who had been healed and they who were whole, bow down at his feet, and did worship Him” (3 Nephi 17:10).
