Jonga kuYe. Amazwi akhe aphinda ingcebiso ka-Alma kunyana wakhe uHilamani: “Bona okokuba ukhangela kuThixo uze uphile.” U-Alma wacaphula amava kaLihayi nabantu bakhe ngeLiyahona njengomzekelo: “Kukwanjalo ukubalula ukunikela inyameko kulo ilizwi likaKrestu, eliya kukwalathisa indlela ethe tye eya kulonwabo lwanaphakade, njengokuba kwakunjalo koobawo bethu ekunikeleni inyameko kuso esi salatha-mbombo, esasiya kubalathisa indlela ethe tye eya kulo ilizwe lesithembiso.” U-Alma wathi: “Okokuba bangajongabanokuphila. … Kwaye ukuba thina … siyajonga si ngaphila ngonaphakade.”

Ngesinye isihlandlo, u-Alma wacaphula umzekelo wenyoka yobhedu eyavuswa nguMoses xa amaSirayeli amandulo ayecinezelwe ziinyoka ezinomlilo. U-Alma wabuza:

“… Waphoseni ngapha nangapha ke amehlo enu nize niqalise ukukholelwa kuNyana kaThixo, okokuba uya kuza abakhulule abantu bakhe, nokokuba uya kuva iintlungu aze afe ukuze ahlawulele izono zabo; nokokuba uya kuvuka kwabafileyo, okuya kubangela kwenzeke uvuko, lokuba bonke abantu baze beme phambi kwakhe, ukuze bagwetywe ngowokugqibela nowomgwebo umhla, ngokwemisebenzi yabo.”

Kakade ke, ingcebiso “khangela kuThixo uze uphile” asikho nje intsingiselo kuthi ngonaphakade, kodwa senza wonke umahluko kwisimilo nomgangatho wobomi bethu basemhlabeni. Nelson wafundisa, “Ngenxa yokuba uMsindisi, ngeNtlawulelo yaKhe engapheliyo, wakhulula ngamnye wethu kubuthathaka, iimpazamo, nesono, kwaye ngenxa yokuba Wava zonke iintlungu, ixhala, kunye nomthwalo owakhe wanawo [bona Alma 7:11–13], ngoko njengokuba uguquka ngenene kwaye ufuna uncedo lwaKhe, ungaphakama ngaphezu kweli hlabathi linzima langoku.”

Imithetho nengcebiso zikaThixo zifumaneka kwizibhalo nakumazwi ezicaka zaKhe. Imigaqo neenjongo ezibekiweyo kuso “USapho: iSibhengezo kwiHlabathi” ngumzekelo obalaseleyo. Olunye lukhokelo olufumaneka kwincwadana ethi Okwenzelwe Ukomeleza uLutsha. Umxholo waBafana abaSelula namaNtombazana Aselula walo nyaka uthi “Jonga kuKrestu,” utsalwe kulwalathiso lweNkosi oluthuthuzelayo oluya kuJoseph Smith no-Oliver Cowdery: “Khangela kum kuyo yonke ingcinga; ningathandabuzi, ningoyiki.” Okwenzelwe Ukomeleza uLutsha ithetha ngemithetho emininzi engxamisekileyo kaThixo nemigangatho kwaye ifundisa indlela yokujonga eNkosini ekwenzeni izigqibo ezilungileyo. Isisikhokelo kungekuphela nje kulutsha kodwa kuthi sonke.

Njengomzekelo obaluleke kakhulu, Okwenzelwe Ukomeleza uLutsha inesikhokelo esibalulekileyo kwisahluko esinomxholo othi “Umzimba Wakho UNgcwele.” Iyayalela: “Wuphathe umzimba wakho—kunye nemizimba yabanye ngentlonipho. Njengoko usenza izigqibo malunga nesinxibo sakho, iinwele zakho nendlela okhangeleka ngayo, zibuze, ‘Ngaba ndiwunika imbeko umzimba wam njengesipho esingcwele esivela kuThixo?’”

Okwenzelwe Ukomeleza uLutsha ngokubhekele phaya ithi: “Gcina isini neemvakalelo yezesondo ngcwele. Ayifanele ibe ngumxholo wokuqhula okanye wokuzonwabisa. Ngaphandle komtshato phakathi kwendoda nomfazi, akulunganga ukubamba amalungu angasese, angcwele omzimba womnye umntu nokuba wembathisiwe. Kukhetho lwakho malunga nento oyenzayo, jonga, ufunde, umamele, ucinge, uthumele, okanye umbhalo, phepha nantoni na evuselela inkanuko kwabanye okanye kuwe.”

“Zimbalwa izinto eziya kubenza nzima ubomi bakho ngokukhawuleza kunokwaphula lo mthetho wobuthixo [wobunyulu]. Kwabo abenze iminqophiso noThixo, ukuziphatha kakubi yenye yeendlela ezikhawulezayo zokuphulukana nobungqina bakho.

Ngalo hlobo, uThixo wamisela ulwalathiso olucacileyo lokusetyenziswa kwala mandla aphilayo, obuthixo. Ukusondelelana ngokwasenyameni kokwendoda nomfazi abatshatileyo kuphela.

“Uninzi lwehlabathi aluyikholelwa le nto, kodwa uluvo loluntu ayingomlali wenyaniso. INkosi ibhengeze ukuba akukho mntu ungamsulwanga uya kuzuza ubukumkani beselestiyali. … Ukuba uye awabimsulwa, ndiyakubongoza ukuba uguquke. Yiza kuKrestu ufumane isithembiso saKhe esigqibeleleyo soxolelo njengoko uguquka ngokupheleleyo ezonweni zakho [bona uIsaya 1:16–18; IMfundiso neMinqophiso 58:42–43].”

Khumbula ukuba kwisithembiso seNcwadi kaMormoni, isichasi sempumelelo yayingeyiyo intlupheko—yayikusikwa ebusweni beNkosi. Ubukho bakhe bubhekisa kwimpembelelo yoMoya waKhe ebomini bomntu. Ngokwenene, ayikho enye indlela ngaphandle kwaleyo uThixo ngokwaKhe ayimiseleyo: “Jonga kum, nisindiswe, nonke ziphelo zehlabathi; ngokuba ndinguThixo, akukho wumbi.”

Ukujonga kuThixo kuthetha ukuba Yena akayonto nje enye yezinto ezibalulekileyo kuthi; kuthetha, kunoko, ukuba ungoYena ubalulekileyo kuthi. Ndikhumbula kwakhona laa ngozi imbi kakhulu eLesotho kwi nyanga edlulileyo yeSilimela. Ekwibhedi yakhe yasesibhedlele, enye yeenkokheli zamaNtombazana Aselula asindileyo, ababengakholelwa kuThixo phambi kokuba azibandakanye neBandla, wathi injongo yakhe ngoku kukufumanisa ukuba kwakutheni ukuze ubomi bakhe busindiswe. Wathi: “Ukukhonza uThixo rhoqo yindlela eyokhokela ekufumaneni impendulo, ukuba uyakufikelela kwimpendulo. “Ndandikade ndicinga ukuba ndiyamthanda uThixo, kodwa ngoku ngokwenene, ngokwenene, ngokwenene, ngokwenene, ngokwenene, ndimthanda Yena. Ngoku Yena [ungowokuqala] ukubaluleka ebomini bam.”
