Home Evening Starter Kit: Staying Safe Online
Use this outline for a special home evening with your family all about media safety.
Song: “Choose the Right Way,” Children’s Songbook, 160
Activity: Look through the stories below and pick one to read as a family based on what your children need. As you read, you can have your children draw a picture of a person or scene from the story. When you finish, use the discussion question to talk about what you learned and how the Holy Ghost can help you make good choices. Remind them that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them and want to help keep your family safe. Then make a media safety plan together. The additional resources listed below can help you get started!

Media Safety
Discussion questions: What should we do if we see something that makes us uncomfortable? What steps should we take if we see pornography or something else unsafe?
