Welcome to FSY! Get excited because you have a week of fun activities, uplifting devotionals and classes, new friends, and spiritual growth waiting for you. We’ve packed a lot of enjoyment and personal growth into five days, but don’t worry. We have scheduled plenty of free time each day for you to relax with your new friends.
Youth will be divided into counselor groups of approximately 10 youth led by 1 young single adult counselor of the same gender, and into companies, typically made up of 2–3 counselor groups.

- Youth gather together and ensure they have all the necessary materials for the week.
- Check-in location and other details are listed in the registration email and on the Session Information page found at the bottom of your
FSY Dashboard .
- Youth and counselors meet up for the first time to discuss behavior expectations and highlight the FSY vision.
- Company members begin bonding through getting-to-know-you games and learn the company name and chant.
- The entire session comes together to build excitement for the week ahead, introduce the leadership team, and share information for upcoming activities.
- Mealtimes allow youth and counselors to relax, enjoy some food, and bond with each other.
- The session adviser will use this time to inspire youth and bring them closer to Jesus Christ through fun, interactive lessons.
- Game on! Now is a perfect time to play games and debrief on how they relate to the gospel. Afterwards, youth set goals for the week, both individually and as a company.
- Time to ponder the day’s experiences and recognize what Heavenly Father is trying to teach them. After, company members will have a chance to share their thoughts with each other.
- Youth will use this time to get ready for bed and relax. They’re free to visit friends in the same hall, but no hopping to other floors.
- Bedtime! Counselors will stick around to check if participants are in their beds with lights off, starting to fall asleep.

- Mealtimes allow youth and counselors to relax, enjoy some food, and bond with each other.
- Gospel study is a time for youth to dive into the scriptures, figure out how the scriptures bless their lives, and establish a daily study habit.
- Devotionals inspire youth and draw them closer to Jesus Christ through the session adviser’s messages.
- Time to engage youth in meaningful classes covering relevant topics, lively discussions, and a few “aha” moments.
- Mealtimes allow youth and counselors to relax, enjoy some food, and bond with each other.
- Time to engage youth in meaningful classes covering relevant topics, lively discussions, and a few “aha” moments.
- Time for flex time! Youth can participate in on-campus activities, musical program rehearsals, and variety show tryouts.

- Youth will use this time to create their own banner and cheer for Games Night, then brush up on dance tips.

- Select youth will showcase their skills with the rest of the youth there to cheer them on!
- Time for flex time! Youth can participate in on-campus activities as well as the musical program dress rehearsal.
- Mealtimes allow youth and counselors to relax, enjoy some food, and bond with each other.
- Counselors will discuss the purpose of reverence and how it helps youth receive revelation.
- Youth will teach the gospel through prepared music and scripts.
- Youth will be given the chance to share their testimonies with others.

- It’s time to review and celebrate the week, highlighting ways the youth can take home something from each activity through activities and audience participation.
- Youth will discuss the impact of goal setting in their lives and how they can continue ongoing goal setting after they go home.
- Time for flex time! Youth should use this time to begin packing and preparing to return home as well as participate in on-campus activities.
- Mealtimes allow youth and counselors to relax, enjoy some food, and bond with each other.
- Youth can enjoy wholesome dancing with others.
- The session adviser will give their final encouragement for continued growth after FSY.
- Counselors will assist youth in setting personal goals that will reinforce gospel commitment and their conviction to continually use “A Pattern for Growth.”
- Youth will use this time to get ready for bed and relax. They’re free to visit friends in the same hall, but no hopping to other floors.
- Bed time! Counselors will stick around to check if participants are in their beds with lights off, starting to fall asleep.

6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Prepare to Leave
- Youth will finish any final packing and cleanup.
- Youth will say goodbye and be released to their parents’ or guardians’ care.
