This Month’s Theme: Hope in the Future

Dearest readers,

I am an overthinker. When I was younger, I would lay in bed at night and think about the vastness of eternity. Then I would end up crying in my parents’ bedroom because I was so scared of what the future held.

I’ve grown out of that habit (mostly), but I still get nervous thinking about my future.

When I start to spiral, I remind myself that Jesus Christ—the source of all hope—lives. And because He lives, we can have hope in Him that everything, now and in the future, will be all right.

Speaking of hope in Christ, President M. Russell Ballard (1928–2023) said: “Hope is essential to overcoming adversity, fostering spiritual resilience and strength, and coming to know that we are loved by our Eternal Father.”

Here are some of this month’s stories of hope:

We also have stories that are part of our ongoing series:

I hope you know that we here at YA Weekly love you. This Easter season, we hope that you can find reasons to have hope in Christ.

Because He is risen. And this gives me lots of hope for the future.

With love and hope in Christ,

Aspen Yip, YA Weekly Editorial Intern
