Bab 29: Yesus Berjalan di Atas Air

Jesus's disciples are in a boat on the Sea of Galilee in the midst of a storm - ch.29-1

Setelah memberi makan 5.000 orang, Yesus naik ke bukit untuk berdoa. Para murid-Nya naik perahu menyeberangi Danau Galilea. Ketika malam tiba, angin mulai bertiup, dan ombak bergulung tinggi.

Matius 14:22–24

Jesus walks over the water to get to the boat - ch.29-2

Di tengah malam itu, Yesus datang untuk bergabung dengan para murid-Nya. Dia berjalan di atas air menuju perahu itu.

Matius 14:25

The disciples are afraid when they see Jesus walking on the water - ch.29-3

Para murid melihat Dia berjalan di atas air. Mereka ketakutan. Mereka menyangka Dia adalah hantu. Yesus memanggil mereka, “Aku ini, jangan takut.”

Matius 14:26–27

Peter walks on the water toward the Savior - ch.29-4

Petrus juga ingin berjalan di atas air. Yesus menyuruh Petrus untuk datang kepada-Nya. Petrus turun dari perahu. Dia mulai berjalan di atas air ke arah Juruselamat.

Matius 14:28–29

Because of the strong wind Peter is afraid and begins to sink - ch.29-5

Karena angin bertiup kencang, Petrus ketakutan. Dia mulai tenggelam ke dalam air dan berseru kepada Yesus untuk menyelamatkannya.

Matius 14:30

The Savior takes Peter by the hand and asks why he is afraid - ch.29-6

Juruselamat meraih tangan Petrus. Dia bertanya kepada Petrus mengapa dia tidak memiliki iman yang lebih besar.

Matius 14:31

Jesus and Peter walked to the boat and the storm ceased - ch.29-7

Ketika Yesus dan Petrus sampai ke perahu, badai berhenti. Semua murid menyembah Juruselamat. Mereka tahu bahwa Dia adalah Putra Allah.
