Episode 26: A Beautiful Place
In Nauvoo, Joseph Smith speaks at the funeral of Seymour Brunson and introduces proxy baptism for the dead. The Nauvoo Temple is under construction, and for the first time in this dispensation baptisms for the dead, the endowment, and sealings are performed. Matt McBride, digital content manager for the Publications Division of the Church History Department, brings his understanding to these monumental events.
