Ready to Walk with Jesus

Hello!

We’re Hailey and Violet, twin sisters from Arizona, USA. We want to follow the Savior’s example, so we’re getting ready to be baptized!

We like walking by a river close to our home. When we are baptized, we will be starting a new spiritual walk with Jesus! The Holy Ghost will be with us as we try to follow the Savior each day.

Sometimes we collect small white shells by the river. They remind us of something the Savior promised: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). Because of Jesus Christ, we can repent and be clean again after we make a wrong choice. We will wear white on our baptism day to remember this too.

Our dad is really good at skipping stones on the river! He’s teaching us how to do it, and we get a little better every time we try. This is like how Jesus Christ is the perfect Teacher. He wants to help us learn and grow.

The rocks in the river are slippery, and it helps to hold our mom’s hand. Jesus is always there for us when we need help. And when we are baptized, we will promise to help others the way He would!

We love walking along the river with our family. When we are baptized, we will be on the covenant path that leads back to our heavenly home. We can be with our family forever!

I’m excited to be baptized because I want to follow Jesus’s example. I get to show Heavenly Father that I want to keep the commandments.
