Avocado-Pit Necklace

By Rebecca M. Taylor

To make this necklace for your mom, you will need: an avocado pit, a black marking pen, a 33″ (82.5 cm) piece of yarn, and strong glue.

  1. Wash and dry the avocado pit, then peel off the brown outer layer.

  2. With the marking pen, draw a design on the pit.

  3. Glue the middle of the yarn to the top of the pit; let the glue dry. Tie the ends of the yarn together in a knot.
