Ward Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Leaders

Ward Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum presidencies, advisers, and specialists have the responsibility of working with other ward leaders to help youth register, attend FSY, and take home what they learned.

Timeline of Responsibilities

October through January: Preregistration Support

  • Work with youth to prepare for preregistration and to preregister. Work to resolve account and login issues.
  • Invite less active youth to attend FSY as well.

January through June: Registration Support

  • Help those who have preregistered to finalize preregistration.
  • Reach out to youth who haven’t registered and encourage them to do so.
  • Work with parents to resolve any concerns.

May: Prepare Youth for Session

  • Work with parents, youth, and the ward disability specialist to ensure all necessary accommodations are identified and arranged no less than 30 days before the session.
  • Answer any last-minute questions that the youth or parents might have.

Following FSY: Encourage Continued Growth

  • Work to ensure that youth are able to take home what they learned from FSY.

Who Do I Work With?

Stake Youth Committee Representative

Bishopric or Branch Presidency

  • Work with the Bishop to help youth register and prepare for FSY. Especially focus on ministering to and inviting less active youth to attend (see Bishopric or Branch Presidency).

Ward FSY Representative

  • Work with the ward FSY representative to help youth register, resolve any account issues, and answer any questions parents might have (see Ward FSY Representative).

Ward Disability Specialist

  • Work with the ward disability specialist to ensure youth and parents submit accommodation requests no more than 30 days before the session begins (see Ward Disability Specialist).
