My Song in the Night
1. O Jesus, my Savior, my song in the night,
Come to us with Thy tender love, my soul’s delight.
Unto Thee, O Lord, in affliction I cry,
My comfort by day and my song in the night.
2. O why should I wander a stranger from Thee
Or cry in the desert, Thy face to see?
My comfort and joy, my soul’s delight—
O Jesus, my Savior, my song in the night.
3. Thy promise is sure; we are safe in Thy care.
Thou wilt help all God’s children their burdens to bear.
So to Thee I will look to be kept in the light,
And hold in remembrance my song in the night.
