Moses 7
Moses 7
Overview
The Lord called His people Zion because they were unified, lived righteously, and cared for the poor. He showed Enoch that Zion would be taken up into heaven, but He wept for the people who remained on earth in their wickedness. These people would eventually face a flood. The Lord also showed Enoch the sacrifice of the Savior. The Lord promised that in the last days, He would gather and preserve the people who would follow Him.
Help learners recognize the Lord’s love, power, and mercy in their lives. Helping students recognize what the Lord has done for them can help them exercise faith in Him. An example of how to do this is in Lesson 18: “Moses 7:53–69.” To learn more, see “Help Learners Recognize the Lord’s Love, Power, and Mercy in Their Lives” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 8).
