Remembering President Russell M. Nelson

He was born on September 9, 1924, in Utah, USA.

With his family.

At age 10, he was an errand boy for his father’s company.

He was baptized when he was 16 years old.

He met his wife Dantzel White when they were both in a college play.

They were married in 1945 and had 9 daughters and 1 son.

Before being called as an Apostle, he worked as a heart surgeon. Here he is holding a large model of a heart.

He enjoyed skiing with his grandchildren.

After Dantzel died, he married his wife Wendy L. Watson in the Salt Lake Temple.

He announced more than 100 temples while he was prophet!

He read every scripture that mentions Jesus Christ, and he invited us to as well.
