Nephi Prays for the People

Nephi was a prophet. He was named after Nephi who got the brass plates. He was worried about the people. They had stopped following God.

Nephi went to his garden. He climbed a tower in the garden and prayed to God there. He prayed for the people.

Some people noticed Nephi on the tower. They stopped to listen and gathered others to hear. When Nephi finished praying, he noticed they were watching and started teaching them.

Nephi asked the people to repent. Some of them didn’t like what Nephi taught. But many others listened! They chose to repent and changed their ways.
