Origami Tulips
In many parts of the world, tulips are some of the first flowers to bloom in the springtime. Because of this, they are a symbol of new birth and can remind us of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. When we sin, we can repent and be spiritually born again!
-
Fold a square piece of paper in half diagonally into a triangle.
-
With the long side on the bottom, fold the right point up, making sure it does not overlap with the top point.
-
Fold the left side in the same way as step two.
-
Flip your paper over. The part with the two points sticking out should be at the top.
-
Fold down just the tip of the triangle on each side.
-
Flip your paper over again to see your tulip! Then glue it to a piece of paper.
To make the stem, cut green paper, find leaves outside to glue on, or draw your own!

Easter Egg Salad
Did you know that eggs can remind us of new life? Make this egg salad recipe to help you remember Jesus Christ’s Resurrection!
-
With a grown-up’s help, boil 6–8 eggs for 10 minutes.
-
Let the eggs cool, then peel and chop them into small pieces.
-
In a bowl, mix the chopped eggs with 1 tablespoon of mustard and ¼ cup of mayonnaise. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika and mix again.
-
Spread it over bread or crackers and enjoy!
