A Happy Easter

A true story from Cambodia.

Today was Easter! Gloria’s family was going to paint Easter eggs and eat curry noodles.

Pa picked up a hot egg. “Careful, Pa!” Gloria laughed.

Gloria painted her egg purple.

“Do you know why we celebrate Easter?” Pa asked.

“Because Jesus died for us and rose again,” said Gloria.

“Yes,” said Mom. “Because of Jesus, we can live together forever with Him someday!”

“I think Jesus loves us like we love each other,” Gloria said.

“That’s why He wants us to live with Him forever!”
