I’m Going to Follow Jesus Christ Today

1. I’m going to follow Jesus Christ today.

I want to be like Him in ev’ry way.

If I do what’s right, He will send His light

As I read, pray, ponder, and obey.

2. I can be clean, brave, reverent, and kind.

I can serve Him with body, soul, and mind.

As a child of God, hold the iron rod

And give charity to all mankind.

3. I can bear testimony pure and true,

Be an example, do what He would do.

I’ll proclaim the truth though I’m in my youth,

So my friends can hear the gospel too.
