Boy with a Horse

My bedroom’s rather small, of course,

But still, I’d like to have a horse!

If he stood quiet and didn’t prance,

I’d climb up on his back and be

A highwayman! A knight-at-arms!

A captain of the cavalry!

(We couldn’t go outside, you know,

Because the doorways are too low.)
