Banana Bug

By Julie Wardell

For each bug, you will need: 1/2 banana, crushed vanilla wafers, 2 raisins, and a celery stalk.

  1. Peel the banana and cut it into round slices.

  2. Place the cookie crumbs in a small bowl. Roll the banana slices in the crumbs until they are completely coated.

  3. Place the banana slices next to each other on a plate (see illustration).

  4. Cut small, thin strips of celery for the antennae and the mouth. Add the raisins for the eyes.
