My Grandpa’s Zoo

By Pat Russell

I went to see my grandpa.

I thought he owned a zoo,

For there were lots of horses there

And lots of brown cows too.

I saw some playful puppies

And heard a quacking duck.

There also was a small white hen

That liked to say, “cluck, cluck.”

The pigs I saw went, “oink, oink, oink”;

The kittens cried, “mew, mew.”

I really had a grand old time

While at my grandpa’s zoo!
