Cash Prizes
Prizes will given for each category in each participating area. Cash prizes in each of the four categories will be as follows:
Local History, $250
Personal or Family History, $250
Rising Generation History Project, $250
Academic Research Article, $500
Prizes will be awarded in equivalent local currencies.
Smaller additional cash prizes will also be awarded, depending on the number and quality of entries. If submissions in a category are too few or of insufficient merit, the jury and chair reserve the right to redistribute prize money from that category to other categories.
In addition to cash prizes, all work the judges consider exceptional will receive a certificate of commendation.
