Gospel Stream is the official app for all broadcasts from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When there’s no broadcast live, browse a selection of videos and key messages created by the Church to uplift your day, support your Come, Follow Me lessons, and make viewing Church messages easier.
The Gospel Stream app is available in the following app stores:
We love suggestions. Submit feedback to gospelstream@ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
The name Gospel Stream draws on symbols used in the scriptures and by Church leaders that the Savior and His teachings are like living water or an everlasting stream of knowledge that God’s children can access or drink from to draw closer to Him. In John 4:14, Jesus himself teaches the woman of Samaria, “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
The word “stream” is often used to symbolize living waters and knowledge from God. Joseph Smith once said, “Those who have read [the scriptures], and who have drunk of the stream of knowledge which they convey, know how to appreciate them.” (Joseph Smith, Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith (2007), 64)
Additionally, modern prophets and apostles use the symbols of living water to represent a connection to the Savior and His teaching. Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin said
“Do you wish to partake of this living water [spoken of in John 4:14] and experience that divine well springing up within you to everlasting life?
“Then be not afraid. Believe with all your hearts. Develop an unshakable faith in the Son of God. Let your hearts reach out in earnest prayer. Fill your minds with knowledge of Him. Forsake your weaknesses. Walk in holiness and harmony with the commandments.
“Drink deeply of the living waters of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
-Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin (1917–2008) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, “The Abundant Life,” Liahona and Ensign, May 2006, 100.
Our hope is the videos and broadcasts found on the Gospel Stream app can be a source of the living waters for God’s children and a constant source of divine wisdom, enlightenment, and spiritual sustenance accessible through faith and adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel Stream™ app provides easy access to Church broadcasts ranging from General Conference to links to your local sacrament meeting all in one convenient place. Local events will open in Zoom if your congregation uses it to broadcast meetings.

The Gospel Stream app also has a selection of video content from the Media Library on ChurchofJesusChrist.org that you can watch on demand. Content is made available to help support Come, Follow Me lessons and other Church messaging.
Not seeing something you want? Send us feedback at gospelstream@ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
Never miss another broadcast from the Church. Turn on notifications and the Gospel Stream mobile app will send you a notification five minutes before each broadcast starts.
Need to view or show a video on demand without an internet connection? The Gospel Stream mobile app has the ability to download videos to your device. With a dedicated Downloads section, you can easily view and manage the videos you have downloaded.
The Categories section is the hub for all on-demand video content. We’ve organized the content to help you find popular and relevant videos, including but not limited to:
The search feature is a valuable tool when you are looking for a specific video on demand. Live events will not show up in a search but are always featured on the home page.
When you find a video you like, we’ve made it easy to share. Just click the share icon on any video and share it using your favorite app.
If approved by your local leadership, you can also easily share links to your sacrament meeting. Just find the week you want to share, click the share icon and the app repopulates your Zoom link and some sharable text.
The Gospel Stream app has replaced the Latter-day Saints Channel app. We’ve taken the best features and content and incorporated them into this new app. While you’ll still be able to find broadcasts and inspiring video content, we did have to remove some features. For example, you can find podcasts in the Media Library on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Radio has been reduced from three channels to one music channel that will also play key broadcasts.
The Gospel Stream app has replaced the Gospel Media app. We’ve taken the best features and content and incorporated them into this new app. You’ll find a more focused library of videos in the Categories section, and we’ve kept the download feature so you can show videos with confidence when your internet connection is unreliable. The full video, image, and audio libraries will still be available in the Media Library on ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
The Gospel Stream app has all broadcasts from Church headquarters in Salt Lake City. This includes general conference, devotionals, and more.
You can also find and watch area broadcasts as they are available to you in your area. And you will be able to find links to your ward and stake broadcasts on mobile devices if your local leaders have allowed all members of the congregation to have access and if your unit uses Zoom to broadcast.
You will need to sign in to see local and area broadcasts.
Local events can be managed at Meet.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
Leaders can now create secure links for viewing ward or stake meeting broadcasts through the Gospel Stream mobile app and online at Broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. These links adhere to local and Church-wide privacy guidelines and allow easy management of ad-free broadcasts, accessible to all ward or stake members or specific individuals within or outside your unit.

When signed in using your Church Account and if your local leaders have granted permission, you will have access to links to your local broadcasts. These broadcasts also need to be hosted on Church-provided Zoom accounts. Due to technical limitations, you will not be able to watch your broadcast in the Gospel Stream app but will be able to access links to view it through the Zoom application.
While not labeled “Gospel Stream,” the same content can be found in the Media Library on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Here are links to the broadcasts and videos on the web:
There could be a lot of reasons the broadcast stopped playing. There could be an issue with the broadcast or an interruption in your internet connection. Try closing the broadcast video player and playing the broadcast again. For additional help, see this “Troubleshoot Streaming Issues” article.
Some broadcasts like sacrament meetings, Music & The Spoken Word, and certain area broadcasts are not available after the live event is over. It may be that you clicked the notification after the event ended and the event is no longer available.
Some broadcasts like sacrament meetings and certain area broadcasts are not available after the live event is over. It may be that the event you are looking for was not recorded. When a video will not be recorded, you will see on the event a message that says, “Video will not be available after the event.”
If you don’t see your local events when you sign in, your local leader (bishopric or technology specialist) has likely restricted access to the broadcast. Or they may not be using an approved Zoom account. Contact your local leader for the access code to view the broadcast.
Additionally, if you are trying to find your sacrament meeting on a TV or OTT device (Roku, Google TV, Apple TV, and so on), they are not available at this time. Sacrament meeting broadcasts are only available on mobile versions of the Gospel Stream app.
