Stake Presidency
FSY is a pillar of the Children and Youth program and a priority. Help bishoprics understand this by ensuring they approve their youth before preregistration or registration opens and encourage youth to register. Stake Young Women and stake Young Men leaders are responsible for organizing pre- and post-FSY activities, with stake presidencies supporting and holding them accountable.
Stake presidencies should use youth unit reports to monitor registration and intervene when necessary to increase registration percentages, either directly or through delegation. They must also be aware of and inform others about specialty sessions (language supported, virtual, ASL) and ensure accommodation is arranged when needed. Additionally, wards should have the necessary funds for registration, with money for stake youth conferences allocated to wards for FSY.
