Stake FSY Activity
Objective
A stake FSY activity is designed to extend the FSY experience beyond the five-day conference. It will inspire youth to prepare and grow spiritually, foster greater unity within their ward and stake, and discover the joy of living the gospel as they strengthen their testimony of Christ.
Planning Guidelines
Stake FSY activities can be customized to fit the needs of the youth in your stake. This activity can be done with only your stake, or you can combine with other stakes to give youth the opportunity to make new friends outside of their stake, just as they will at FSY.
Youth are encouraged to take the lead in planning this activity, with the guidance of the stake Young Women and Young Men presidents. Stake and ward leaders or local seminary and institute teachers can serve as speakers. Local young adults, single or married couples, can serve as counselors. It is recommended that speakers and counselors demonstrate a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ through temple worthiness and be recommended by their bishop.
It is recommended that stakes hold both a pre-FSY and post-FSY activity. The details of both are highlighted below.

Stake FSY activities held before the FSY session should help youth know what to expect when they attend an FSY conference, get excited for their FSY experience, and set spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual goals. This activity should also help youth gain a better understanding of the standards in

Post-FSY Activity
Stake FSY activities held after the FSY session will give youth the opportunity to reflect on their individual FSY experiences, strengthen bonds with others who shared the experience, recommit to goals they set during FSY, and create new goals.
