Isaiah 58–66
Isaiah 58–66
Overview
Through Isaiah, the Lord made promises to those who fast and keep the Sabbath day holy. Isaiah also prophesied of the Savior’s mission, the Second Coming, and the Millennium.
Help learners recognize the Lord’s love, power, and mercy in their lives. It is good to know about the Savior’s love, power, and mercy, but we also need to realize ways we have experienced them. Inviting students to reflect on personal experiences when they have seen the Lord’s love, power, and mercy can help them feel closer to Him. An example of how to do this can be found in Lesson 128: “Isaiah 61.” To learn more, see “Help learners recognize the Lord’s love, power, and mercy in their lives” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 8).
