Experiences Supported by Relief Society
The purpose of Relief Society is to help God’s children prepare to return to His presence. Relief Society accomplishes this by supporting experiences for sisters to give and receive the Savior’s love and relief. As they feel of His love, sisters will gain a desire to develop their covenant relationship with God. Experiences supported by the Relief Society help sisters fulfill this important purpose.
The accompanying resources can help you learn about gospel principles that support these experiences. Relief Society leaders prayerfully consider what experiences to focus on in your wards and stakes. You may also use the resources to teach sisters how to strengthen their connection with Jesus Christ.
