Following Jesus in Chile

Santiago follows Jesus Christ by including others. One of his classmates wasn’t a fast runner and was often left out of football teams. Santiago started inviting him to play on his team! He says, “I feel good because I followed Jesus’s example.”

Santiago also follows the Savior by praying. When Santiago broke his arm, he felt scared. His mom told him to pray to Heavenly Father for comfort. “That helped me stay calm,” he says.

Holiday: Christmas, because it is Jesus Christ’s birthday and the whole family usually gets together

Food: Humita (ground corn wrapped in corn husks and steamed) with Chilean salad (tomato with onion)
