Add a Word

By Rosie Centrone

What one word, when placed before each word in a set, forms new words? Each missing word is a part of your body. Example: chair, rest, hole, or would have arm placed in front of them—armchair, armrest, armhole, armor.

  1. Sight, brow, tooth, witness

  2. Band, ache, light, set

  3. Made, shake, some, writing

  4. Beat, broken, burn, felt

  5. Ball, step, print, note

Answers:

  • (1) eye, (2) head, (3) hand, (4) heart, (5) foot.
