Banana Dogs

“Banana Dogs,” Friend, June 1991, 31

Banana Dogs

2 tablespoons honey

3/4 cup peanut butter

4 hot-dog buns, sliced

2 small bananas, peeled

1 tablespoon lemon juice

  1. Mix the honey and the peanut butter together.

  2. Spread three tablespoons of the mixture onto each hot dog bun.

  3. Cut the bananas in half lengthwise. Brush the bananas with the lemon juice.

  4. Put a banana half in each hot dog bun.
