“Pet Toy,” Friend, Dec. 1989, 17

Pet Toy

To make this toy for a favorite pet, you will need: large, empty spool; long piece of yarn; two jingle bells.

  1. Thread yarn through one bell, then through spool.

  2. Thread yarn through second bell, then pull tight and knot at one end.

  3. Wrap remaining yarn around middle of spool (one layer only), knot, and cut off excess yarn.
