Hairy Pumpkin

You will need: pumpkin, sharp knife, spoon, cotton, and mustard and watercress seeds.

  1. Ask an adult to help you cut top off pumpkin. Scoop out small amount of pulp and seeds.

  2. Place layer of cotton inside pumpkin, then moisten cotton.

  3. Sprinkle seeds on moist cotton. Keep moist until pumpkin has sprouted green “hair.” Now cut out pumpkin face, and it’s ready for Halloween!
