Sailing

I’d like to race across the sea,

With sailboat banners flying.

I’d like to feel the ocean spray

And hear the seagulls crying.

I’d leave the steaming beach behind

And glide toward open spaces,

Where breezes cool my face and neck

And play a game of chases.
