Recognizing the sacredness of the earth and its resources, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continues to implement sustainable practices that support human well-being. In 2025, the Church enhanced its ability to care for those in need by expanding access to solar power.

Solar Power and Access to Education

For thousands of communities around the world, electricity is expensive, unreliable, or nonexistent, which makes it difficult for people to access quality education. In 2025, the Church supported multiple solar power projects to improve education opportunities for those in need, including:
