As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gather every six months, thousands of people work tirelessly behind the scenes to make general conference a success. But who are these people, and what is their story? Some are Church employees, and others are unpaid volunteers. Still, each plays a crucial role in carrying the general conference messages to hearts and homes worldwide. With more than 100,000 in-person guests attending the two days of general conference, and millions watching the live broadcast of the event worldwide, countless things need to go right to create the deeply spiritual and memorable experience that general conference brings. This series highlights the work, dedication, and tremendous efforts of those who make the general conference possible, focusing on different contributors to the conference in each episode. For almost five months prior to each session of General Conference, a team meticulously plans every detail to ensure that the broadcast runs smoothly. Broadcasting General Conference has been a labor of love for over 100 years with a goal to reach every heart and home.
