Nephi, an ancient prophet of God from Jerusalem and Ancient America, is caught up in a far-reaching vision of future events, similar to that of his father, Lehi and accompanied by an angel of the Lord.  

Nephi Sees a Vision of Future Events | 1 Nephi 10–15 

The prophet Lehi speaks to his family, including Nephi. He relates his prophetic vision of Jerusalem carried into captivity. Lehi speaks of the Savior to redeem scattered Israel.

Nephi Prays to Understand the Vision of His Father   | 1 Nephi 10 

Nephi prays and is visited by angels. Nephi sees the vision of the Son of God and His ministry as the Lamb of God. Nephi sees the virgin mother and interprets the love of God for the children of men.

Nephi Sees the Birth and Ministry of Jesus Christ | 1 Nephi 11 

Nephi sees the sacrifice of Christ for the sins of the world. He sees the pride, wickedness and violence of the world and the destruction of those who fight against the disciples of the Lamb.

Nephi Sees Jesus Christ's Ministry in the Americas | 1 Nephi 12 

An angel shows Nephi the temptations of the devil and the peril of unbelief among the nations. The angel shows Nephi the Biblical record of the Jews and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon.

Nephi Sees the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ | 1 Nephi 13–14 

Nephi sees the restored church by vision in the latter days. He returns to his   brothers who dispute the prophetic teachings of their father Lehi. Nephi explains the meaning of it from his own vision.
