Jesus Christ continues His teachings during His visitation to people of Ancient America. Jesus’ words reflect the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes as found in the Gospel of Matthew 5  – 7.

Jesus teaches the Nephites about the blessings that come from believing the words of His disciples and living the Beatitudes as they come to Him.

Jesus teaches the Nephites that the old law has been fulfilled in Him and they must come unto Him with full purpose of heart in keeping the commandments which He has given them.

Jesus Christ Teaches the Higher Law | 3 Nephi 12:19–48

Jesus teaches the Nephites to pray in secret to their Father to receive blessings from Him. He gives them an example of how to pray. 

Jesus Christ Teaches How to Pray | 3 Nephi 13:1–24

Jesus instructs His disciples to minister to the people and seek the kingdom of God first. He promises that Heavenly Father will bless them with what they need.

Jesus Christ Instructs His Disciples | 3 Nephi 13: 25–34

Christ teaches that His people should not judge, that those who ask, seek, and knock will receive, and that those who enter in at the gate and do the Father’s will shall enter His kingdom.
