A pavilion and picnic area are located between the Independence Visitors’ Center and the Independence Stake Center, near the parking lot. This area is surrounded by a large grassy field, offering a place for groups, individuals, and families to gather and share a meal. The picnic area is free to the public and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Independence Visitors’ Center

The Independence Visitors’ Center allows guests to explore exhibits offering a deeper dive into the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the area.
