The visitors’ center is a great place to start your visit to Historic Nauvoo. The visitors’ center has orientation services, visitor amenities, and an exhibit. There is also a theater for showing films, as well as the administrative offices. Many of the displays are interactive and great for children. Dedicated in 1980 and renovated after its acquisition from the Community of Christ in 2024, the south visitors’ center plays a key role in orienting guests as they begin their visit to Historic Nauvoo.
What to Expect
