Medical Team
Description
Adults with medical experience (doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc) help performance participants stay healthy and safe during their service. Volunteers offer basic first aid on the pageant property and refer participants to local medical experts for further care if necessary.
As part of preventative education and support, the team encourages people to stay hydrated during hot, humid outdoor rehearsals and be cautious on the sloped stage. Volunteers keep coolers filled with ice and ice water and distribute other items to help keep cast and crew cool and hydrated. Other responsibilities include monitoring lost and found items, assisting security volunteers in connecting lost children to their parents, and hosting a cast picnic each week.
