Parking for Conference Center Theater Events

We are excited to welcome you to Temple Square! The following information will help you find parking if you are attending an event in the Conference Center. These small events include Church leadership trainings, the Savior of the World production, and other events in the theater if you are attending a small event. This is not parking information for major Church events held in the Conference Center main auditorium (see Conference Center parking).

Where to Park

  • Parking is available at the Conference Center parking facility.
  • The entrance is located on West Temple, in the center of the street, adjacent to the Conference Center.
  • Please note that parking is limited and fills quickly. Availability is not guaranteed.
  • Overnight parking is not permitted.

Hours and Rates

The facility operates from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

  • Free Parking: Theater patrons may park free of charge by providing the name of the event or showing a ticket or program upon exit.
  • Standard Rate: $25 for general parking.

Accessible Parking

Accessible spaces are available near the elevators on each level. A valid state-issued disability placard or license plate is required. For easiest access to the theater, use the north elevators.

If the Lot is Full

  • If the Conference Center parking is at capacity, visitors may be redirected to the nearest available public parking lots.

Peak Season Advisory

  • Parking demand is especially high in June, July, August, and December.
  • We recommend arriving early to allow time for alternative parking if needed.

  • We encourage the use of UTA Trax and bus services, which offer convenient and reliable access to downtown and Temple Square while reducing traffic and parking challenges. Visit this link for schedules and route planning.
