YSA Ward FSY Representative
YSA ward FSY representatives work with ward leaders to recruit ward members to work for FSY. This can be done using ministering brothers and sisters, personal interactions, ward activities, or other ways as recommended by the ward leaders. See the Media Library for available resources that can aid with recruitment.
FSY staff significantly influence the youth and play a pivotal role in the success of FSY conferences. Therefore, YSA ward FSY representatives and other leaders should prayerfully consider whom to encourage to apply. You should prioritize candidates based on their ability to strengthen youth, rather than viewing it solely as an opportunity for the young single adult to be strengthened. Young single adults will be responsible for the spiritual and physical safety of their youth. Those who support or promote teachings, practices, or doctrines contrary to the Church, or who are currently undergoing a membership council, should not be encouraged to apply.
